On March 6th, the TBIPAC hosted multiple Louisiana State legislators for our annual Tunica Legislative Reception Event held at the City Club of Baton Rouge. Every year before Louisiana’s legislative session begins, the TBIPAC hosts this reception event to help both renew our friendships with state leadership as well as be able to take time to introduce the Tunica-Biloxi’s tribal leadership to the newly elected legislators. The TBIPAC has always felt it to be imperative to help educate and reinforce to our state’s elected leadership on the importance of tribal sovereignty and the bettering of our tribe’s present and future.
